Rally Point
Water, power and a lifeline, waiting where your team will need them.
Rally Point is a locker-sized, self-powered supply node that goes in place before people arrive. It pulls drinking water from the air, treats and stores it, keeps a protected battery reserve for communications, and carries trauma supplies for a full squad. Once it’s set, it runs on sunlight with one service visit a year.
Concept stage. Patent pending, U.S. Provisional Application No. 64/176,776. Every figure on this page is a design target; prototype testing will replace each one with measured data.
Who it’s for
- Small military teams operating far from resupply
- Disaster prepositioning ahead of hurricanes and other emergencies
- Remote sites where water and power are hard to deliver
What it does
- Water from the air. A solar-powered hybrid harvester draws water vapor from desert or humid air.
- Clean water. Sediment and carbon filtration, UV-C disinfection and remineralization, designed to EPA primary drinking water standards and Army field water guidance (TB MED 577).
- Power that’s held in reserve. Solar charging and a lithium iron phosphate battery, with a protected reserve kept back for communications.
- A way to call for help. Satellite internet, Iridium short-burst messaging and a 406 MHz personal locator beacon, with a beacon mode for rescue and a low-signature mode for discreet operations.
- Aid bay. Trauma and sustainment supplies for nine people, refreshed every year.
- Gets there the way supplies already travel. Pickup truck, helicopter sling or A-22 class cargo drop.
